Timesheet
The Timesheet screen, titled Manage Timesheets, is used by the HR Manager or Admin to review, verify, and approve employee-recorded work hours, late entries, and overtime (OT) for payroll processing.
Navigating the Timesheet Management List
Location: Access this module through the main menu path: Home → Time & Attendance → Timesheet.
Purpose: To audit and approve time data, ensuring accurate compensation for payroll.
Key Data: The list displays the Employee, the Date, the total Hours worked, the time recorded as Late, the amount of OT (Overtime), and the Approved status.
Step by Step: Entering Timesheet Details
Select Employee: Choose the specific Employee from a dropdown list (Implied Form Field).

Select Date: Specify the Date for the work period being entered (Implied Form Field).

Input Hours: Manually enter the total Hours worked for that day (Implied Form Field).

Record Exceptions: If applicable, record the time designated as Late or OT (Overtime) (Implied Form Fields).

Save: Click the "Save" button on the form to commit the manual timesheet entry to the system.

Step-by-Step: Approving Timesheets
Select Timesheets: Use the checkboxes next to the employee name or the primary checkbox at the top to select one or multiple timesheet entries for approval.
Approve Selection: Once all desired entries are selected, click the blue "Approve Selected" button.
Status Update: The selected records will update their Approved status, indicating they are ready to be processed by Payroll (implied action).
Filtering and Searching Timesheets
Search Bar: Use the "Search timesheets..." bar to quickly find records by employee name.

Filter by Employee: Use the "All Employees" dropdown to view timesheets for specific staff members.

Filter by Branch/Department: Use the Branch and Department dropdowns to view timesheets for specific organizational units.

Filter by Date: Use the From and To date fields (
mm/dd/yyyy) to isolate timesheets within a specific pay period.

Setting Base/OT Rate
Access Rates: Click the blue "Set Base/OT Rate" button.

Purpose: This function allows the Admin to define the standard base pay rate and the overtime calculation rate, ensuring accurate pay calculations based on the approved timesheet hours (implied action).
