The HR Configuration screen is used by the HR Manager or Admin to define the operational categories and shift rules that govern employee attendance and relations, providing the necessary framework for time tracking and event management.
Navigating HR Configuration
Location: Access this module through the main menu path: Home → System Configuration → HR Configuration.
Purpose: To establish the foundational types for shifts, awards, events, leaves, and exit reasons used across the platform.

Define Shift Details (Form Fields):

Set the Start Time and End Time to define the standard working hours.
Indicate if the shift Crosses Midnight (Yes/No) to ensure accurate time calculation for overnight work.

Save: Click "Save" to add the shift to the system and make it available for assignment in the Work Schedule module.

Managing and Auditing Configuration
Searching: Use the "Search shift type..." (or corresponding category) bar to quickly locate specific configuration records.

Use the Red Trash Icon to remove types that are no longer in use.

Status Tracking: Monitor the Active column to ensure all necessary operational categories are enabled for system-wide use.
