Events
The Events screen allows the HR Manager or Admin to schedule, track, and manage all internal company activities and functions.
Navigating the Events Module
Location: Access this module through the main menu path: Home → Employee Engagement → Events.
Purpose: To centralize event planning and ensure events are visible on the system calendar and to all relevant employees.
Key Data: The list tracks the event Title, the Event Type, the Start Date, and the End Date.
Step-by-Step: Creating a New Event
1. Start the Event Creation Form
Initiate: Click the Plus Icon (+) in the top right corner of the screen to open the Create Event form.

2. Enter Event Scope and Target Audience
Branch: Select the Branch or location the event is relevant to (e.g., Head Office). If left blank, it may apply company-wide.

Department: Select the specific Department the event is targeting.

Employee: Optionally, select an individual Employee if the event is only for them.

3. Define Event Details and Schedule
Event Type (*): Select the appropriate Event Type from the required dropdown menu (e.g., Meeting, Training, Social).

Event Name (*): Enter the descriptive Event Name (e.g., "Annual Meeting").

Start/End Date (*): Enter the Start Date and End Date for the event in
mm/dd/yyyyformat.

Description: Use the text box to provide full details, including the agenda, location, and any prerequisites.

Color: Select a Color swatch to visually categorize the event on the system calendar.

4. Finalize and Save
Review all mandatory fields (*) to ensure accuracy.

Click the green "Save" button to finalize the event.

The event is now active, will appear in the main Events list, and will be visible on employee dashboards and the system calendar.

3. Managing and Auditing Events
Searching: Use the "Search events..." bar to quickly locate a current or past event by its title or type.

Reviewing: Use the action button in the Actions column to view full details, modify the schedule, or cancel an event.

Calendar Visibility: Once saved, active events automatically populate the central calendar on the Dashboard for both the HR Manager and other employees.
