Overview

The Employee Relations module is the dedicated section in HireRyze used by the HR Manager or Admin to formally manage all matters related to workplace conflicts, complaints, and disciplinary actions. Its primary purpose is to ensure that all sensitive employee issues are handled with consistency, fairness, and legal compliance.

Core Functions & Sub-Modules

The module structures the management of critical employee-employer interactions:

  • Employee Issues (Complaints): This sub-module is for recording formal Complaints filed within the workplace.

    • It tracks who filed the complaint (Complaint From) and the person or party the complaint is against (Complaint Against).

    • It captures key data such as the complaint Title and the Complaint Date to initiate a formal case file.

  • Warnings (Implied): This section is used to formally document and manage all levels of disciplinary action against an employee, such as verbal or written warnings.

  • Case Management & Audit Trail: The module provides a comprehensive and historical audit trail of all complaints and disciplinary actions. This is essential for internal investigations, justifying employment decisions (like termination), and meeting legal requirements.

HR/Admin Focus

The Employee Relations module shifts HR's focus toward proactive risk management:

  • Standardization: Ensures a consistent process for reporting and resolving workplace conflicts across the organization.

  • Risk Mitigation: By formally documenting issues and disciplinary steps, the system helps mitigate legal risk associated with claims of unfair treatment.

  • Data Integrity: The structure allows HR to easily search and retrieve specific case files.
