Work Schedule
The Work Schedule screen is used by the Super Admin or HR Manager to define the organizational work week and payroll cutoff parameters, providing the technical rules used to calculate attendance, lates, and overtime.
Navigating the Work Schedule
Location: Access this module through the main menu path: Home → System Configuration → Work Schedule.
Purpose: To establish the standard operating hours and payroll logic that the system applies to all employee timesheets.
Key Sections: The screen is divided into two primary configuration areas: Office Work Schedule and Payroll Cutoff Settings.
Step-by-Step: Configuring Work Standards
1. Defining the Office Work Schedule
Set Working Hours: Input the Start Work Time (e.g., 09:00 AM) and End Work Time (e.g., 05:00 PM).

Select Workdays:
Input the number of Weekly Workdays (e.g., 6).
Check the boxes for the specific Workdays (e.g., Monday through Saturday).

Identify Cutoff Day: Select the Weekly Cutoff Day (e.g., Saturday) from the dropdown menu to define the end of the attendance week.

2. Configuring Payroll Cutoff Settings
Establish Cycles: Define the 1st Semi-Monthly Cutoff Day (e.g., 15) and 2nd Semi-Monthly Cutoff Day (e.g., 31).

Set Grace Periods:
Early clock in window: The minutes allowed for early arrival (e.g., 30 minutes).
Late Grace Period per Cutoff: The total excused late minutes allowed per cycle (e.g., 15 minutes).

Enable Logic Toggles: Use the dropdowns to enable or disable advanced rules like Credit Early Clock In?, Offset Late with OT?, and Paid Rest Day?

Managing and Saving Changes
Validation: The system uses the Semi-Monthly Workdays field to ensure the payroll cycle aligns with the defined workdays.

Finalize: Click the blue "Save Changes" button in the bottom right corner to apply these settings across the organization.

Downstream Impact: These settings directly influence the Validate Timesheet screen, where lates and overtime are automatically flagged based on the minutes defined here.
