Employee Movements

The Employee Movements module in HireRyze is the central hub for managing all changes to an employee's role, reporting structure, or status within the company. It's a critical tool for the HR Manager, ensuring all workforce transitions are recorded accurately and processed smoothly across the entire HR system.

PROMOTIONS

This guide covers the Promotions sub-module, which is part of the larger Employee Movements section. This screen is used by the HR Manager to track, manage, and process all employee promotions within the organization.

  • Location: Home Employee Movements Promotions

  • Purpose: This centralizes the management of promotions, ensuring a clear record of when employees change roles and compensation.

Promotion Title Column

Shows the new job title the employee is moving into.

Confirms the official new position within the organization.

Promotion Date Column

Shows the effective date of the promotion.

Critical for ensuring accurate HR records and timely updates to Payroll and People Management data.

Actions Column

Placeholder for controls associated with the record.

Allows the HR Manager to view details, edit the promotion record, or approve/cancel pending promotions.

SEPARATIONS

This screen covers the Separations sub-module, which is essential for managing all employee departures, including resignations, terminations, and retirements. The HR Manager uses this module to ensure offboarding is handled accurately and records are updated correctly.

Exit Type Column

Shows the specific reason for departure (e.g., Resignation, Termination, Retirement).

Essential for legal compliance, reporting, and turnover analysis.

TRANSFERS

This screen covers the Transfers sub-module, which the HR Manager uses to process and track lateral employee movements within the organization. This is used when an employee changes departments or branches without receiving a promotion or change in job title.

  • Purpose: To systematically record all non-promotional shifts in an employee's reporting structure or physical location, ensuring the People Management and Payroll records are updated correctly.

This date is used to finalize the change in the system and ensure the employee's pay is correctly attributed to the new cost center.

3. Operational Notes for HR Manager

  • Zero Records: The screen currently shows "No records found," indicating there are no active or recently completed transfer records in the system.

  • Data Integrity: The date column is crucial. The transfer should be processed before this date to ensure the employee's data in the People Management and Time & Attendance modules reflects the new structure accurately.

  • Related Modules: Transfers is one of three movement types, alongside Promotions (upward moves) and Separations (exits).
